The Cricket Inn, located in Beesands, required a new website to enhance their online presence and streamline visitor interactions. The goal was to develop a site that highlights their dining, drinking, and accommodation services while providing easy management for the client.

The “Eat” section showcases The Cricket Inn’s diverse culinary offerings, designed to provide an engaging experience for potential diners.
Custom Post Type for Menus:
This feature allows the client to update their own menus with ease. Menus are displayed in a tabbed format unique to The Cricket Inn, enabling visitors to seamlessly switch between different menu options, such as the À La Carte Menu , desserts, specials, and more. This dynamic and interactive presentation ensures that diners can quickly find the information they need.
Offsite Restaurant Booking Links:
Integrated links guide users to an external booking system, which connects to their on-location systems, streamlining the reservation process and ensuring a seamless experience from browsing the menu to dining at the restaurant.

The “Drink” section highlights The Cricket Inn’s extensive wine list and other beverage offerings.
CPT for Wine List:
This enables the client to manage and update the wine selection with ease. Patrons can browse through the curated wine list, which includes a wide range of local and international wines, ensuring that there’s a perfect pairing for every meal.
Shared Design with Sister Pub The Church House Inn
This website is one of a pair. The Cricket Inn and their sister pub, the Church House Inn, share the same base design and functionality with a change of colours and branding to reflect their unique identities. Additionally, the Church House Inn features an events system to showcase upcoming events at the pub, enhancing community engagement and visitor interaction.

The “Sleep” section provides detailed information about guest accommodations, emphasizing comfort and convenience.
CPT for Guest Rooms:
This feature facilitates easy management of room descriptions, amenities, and availability. Each room listing includes a comprehensive photo gallery, a detailed amenities list, and pricing information, all of which can be effortlessly updated by the client. This ensures that potential guests have all the information they need to choose their ideal room.
Offsite Booking System Links:
Direct links to external systems make room bookings seamless for guests, ensuring a hassle-free reservation process.
Design and User Experience
The website was designed to mirror the inviting and cozy atmosphere of The Cricket Inn. It features intuitive navigation, high-quality imagery, and a responsive design, ensuring a pleasant user experience across all devices.

A custom-designed Blog section was included to allow The Cricket Inn to share updates, events, and stories, enhancing engagement with their audience.

The integrated shop offers gift vouchers, making it convenient for customers to purchase gifts directly from the website.
